My client is a global leader in consumer electronics and communications with over 75,000 employees worldwide. The company runs the world 3rd largest TV business and 5th largest mobile phone business. They are looking for a VR/AR Vslam Algorithm Engineer.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research of SLAM algorithm for information fusion of sensors such as mobile terminal IMU
  • Study the development status and trend of SLAM industry, and tackle the development of new technologies;
  • Be responsible for locating, analyzing and solving problems related to SLAM development SDK
  • AR/VR slam algorithm development and internal planning


REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering; familiar with data structure, operating system and computer principle;

  • Interested in mathematical logic algorithms, and logical thinking is clear and rigorous
  • Deep understanding of robot related algorithms, and have in-depth research on machine vision, VSLAM, and machine learning related fields
  • Solid C++ language foundation and relevant computer language programming ability
  • Have experience in Visual Inertial Odometry or SLAM development
  • Familiar with feature extraction and optimization, DBoW, graph optimization and mapping and localization related algorithms
  • Familiar with PTAM, DTAM, ORBSLAM, OKVIS and LSDSLAM algorithms is preferred
  • Familiar with the hardware characteristics of mobile SLAM sensor, and familiar with common indoor positioning methods and fusion technologies, such as IMU and other multi-sensor fusion navigation algorithm
  • Experience in developing self-developed rendering engines or common game engines (Unity3D, Ureal Engine, etc.)
  • Familiar with Android system and OPENXR system development
