I am currently working with an Augmented Reality Start-up that is utilizing AR technology to build top-class flight simulations for the best combat pilots in the world. Utilizing real-world knowledge, they can optimize training efficiency by allowing pilots to learn flight skills and high-intensity simulations without ever needing to be physically up in the air.


If you are someone enamored with Augmented reality solutions and would like to be a key play in developing the next airborne-based augmented reality device, this may be the right role for you! The team is currently looking for an engineer to join their Research and Development Team.


This position is based in Santa Monica, CA. It will be completely onsite so that you can be hands-on with the sensors. (no contractors - C2C or C2H).


Requirements:

  • Experience in Computer Vision, Perception, or similar
  • Comfortable developing augmented reality Headset Applications
  • 4+ years of experience in C++
  • Experience in 3D geometry deformation, animation, ML, simulation, or rendering
  • Experience with GPU and CPU architectures and optimization thereof.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
  • Experience with Big Data and specialized hardware acceleration blocks

Nice to have:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related study
  • Specific experience in visual effects, video games, or CG research
  • Development experience with virtual reality (Rift, VIVE, Gear VR, etc.)
