Responsibilities Include


We’re seeking a seasoned digital-savvy marketer to oversee our Global Media and Innovation Center of Excellence (COE). In this COE leadership role, one will develop intentional and impactful Global media strategy and ideate on new, innovative test opportunities for our portfolio of 14+ owned and licensed brands while overseeing and influencing the cross-functional execution of this strategy across the Globe. This leader will also play a key role in overseeing a Global team of experts who will execute Media, SEO, Insights and Innovation in select, strategic markets. The right candidate will be a self-starter who loves to brainstorm new ideas, build strong strategic vision and best practice and enjoys influencing cross-functional partners to push our brand and commercial business forward.
  • Define what success looks like through business goals & outlined key performance indicators in global digital marketing efforts. Demonstrate the return of marketing investment for the business through both short and long term measurement across brand and performance metrics.
    • Collaborate with brand development and analytics teams to define best in class measurement strategy, segmentation strategy to further improve and optimize ongoing personalized communications + identify and measure long and medium term brand value.
  • Oversee an annual Global digital marketing roadmap by season and by year, including key test opportunities
  • Lead the exploration and implementation of emerging technologies and channels
  • Identify business/ market opportunities as well as advanced test and learn opportunities
  • Develop and publish Global Digital Marketing Guidance Annually leveraging analytics insights to drive recommendations by region by brand for:
    • Best Practice across Digital Marketing and Media inclusive of: Strategic Investment Cadence, Consumer Targeting and Media Mix Channel Allocation
    • New media/ innovation opportunities and vision inclusive of: new and emerging digital media, platforms & technology including, XR (VR, AR, MR), AI, Web3, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure optimal mix and performance
    • Review and approve Regional Media plans, seasonally
    • Review and discuss weekly, monthly, quarterly analytics and performance with Regional Marketing teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external partners across the innovation landscape, ensuring Fossil Group is top of mind for all relevant opportunities.


Your Skills


  • Proven success in marketing positions within fast-paced, highly matrixed organizations.
  • Experience in data-driven integrated marketing strategy, inclusive of campaign planning and budget allocation
  • Experience interpreting marketing data to drive decision-making
  • Experience across paid media strategy and digital marketing strategy, using analytics
  • Creative mindset along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence across multiple stakeholders and business partners
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt, take calculated risks, accept ambiguity, test, iterate, and pivot on ideas
  • Ability to collect relevant data and draw conclusions for holistic decision-making
  • Willingness to embrace the possibilities of the digital age by integrating multiple perspectives
  • Enable people at all organizational levels to feel empowered and make appropriate decisions
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum atmosphere a plus
