The AP/AR Manager's primary responsibility is to oversee the functions of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
Essential Functions
• We are looking for an organized AP/AR Manager to oversee the entire accounts receivable and accounts payable process for the organization
• As the AP/AR Manager you will ensure the accounting department runs smoothly by managing invoices, maintaining accurate records regarding payments, handling missed payments, and supervising the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams
• The ideal AP/AR Manager should be focused on optimizing department processes and building a lasting relationship with current and future customers
• Oversee routine department activities
• Monitor processing of invoices
• Ensure timely collection of payments
• Conduct credit checks
• Negotiate with customers in non-payment cases
• Develop, implement, improve, and enforce budgets
• Analyze and compile financial reporting for management
• Verify and resolve discrepancies
• Stay updated on industry and legislative changes
• Ensure all team members follow the accounting principles
