Graduate Student Program Overview-
- 12-week summer internship program for advanced degree students in Master’s or PhD programs. This program will provide students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.

You Will Have The Opportunity To
We are looking for an exceptional graduate-level Electrical Engineering student with a strong interest in multidisciplinary systems, instrumentation, analog and digital electronics, to work in a Development Engineering department supporting the design and development of new products.
- Design, debug, and test precision vacuum measurement instrumentation
- Develop new sensor interface architectures and circuits, including precision analog and digital signal conditioning
- Work alongside Principal Engineers to enhance performance of precision systems.
- Work with low-noise analog electronics, embedded controllers, precision sensors, and vacuum control systems (sensors, pumps, valves, automated controls)
What will you bring to the team, along with your limitless curiosity is:
- A pending master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline expected graduation date of December 2023 or May 2024
- A strong interest in multidisciplinary systems, analog electronics, and embedded controls
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Qualified candidates should be US Persons

Compensation And Benefits
Hourly Pay Range: $27 to $49 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
