POSITION & REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:


The Product Manager is the chief strategist and marketer responsible for developing and delivering commercial solutions to make health care safer.


At CAE, your mission will be to help our team design, develop and commercialize hardware and software training solutions to accelerate and improve medical education, reduce medical errors, reduce costs, and improve the efficiency of health care delivery. This position reports to the Senior Manager Product Management


At CAE, your mission will be to develop relevant, quality based realistic simulation tools and technologies that help make the work a safer place by preparing people for the moments that matter.


  • This is a remote position.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Own and drive the portfolios for CAE Simulation Software Platforms and Content developed to support the wider CAE Healthcare portfolio including the XR/MR/VR/AR strategy.
  • Able to collaborate on all of CAE Healthcare products.
  • Collaborate with CAE Healthcare functions and business partners to understand business needs and develop portfolio and commercialization strategy.
  • Collaborate with key opinion leaders, doctors, nurses, and manufacturing partners to uncover and identify training gaps and collaborate with our teams to develop targeted solutions to address those needs.
  • Manage Product lifecycle and obsolescence.
  • Performs customer segmentation and targeting.
  • Review and develop of pricing strategies.
  • Develop and launch of sales tools and marketing materials.
  • Manage relationships with key opinion leaders and leading medical societies and organizations.
  • Responsible for a portfolio of simulation products targeting physicians and nurses charged with treating patients throughout the care continuum. Our solutions mimic the reality of real patients.
  • Our technology is a combination of hardware and software that can simulate virtually any disease state or condition, respond to virtually any treatment, and push the world’s best health care providers to perform better with more consistency.
  • Manage the voice of business and customers to understand unmet market needs and work with all departments to scope solutions, investment decisions, pricing, feature prioritization, portfolio optimization, and go to market strategies. You’ll shepherd our products through the development cycle, partner with engineers to build the right products, and deliver differentiated solutions that make customers rave.
  • Develop and present business cases for investment in research and development related to the roadmap.
  • Participate actively in planning research and development activities, including focus group meetings.
  • Develop commercial plan and lead the launch of new software platforms as well as further commercialization of existing.


REQUIREMENTS:


Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Marketing or Engineering or equivalent combination of studies


and experience.


  • 5+ years of Product Manager or applied experience in the field of healthcare, patient simulators, medical devices or capital equipment.
  • Experience managing a technical and complex product catalog.
  • Strong financial analytical skills, ability to establish market and financial model.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented individual with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and cross functional environment.
  • Ability to influence key decision makers and partners.
  • Experience with a CRM system (i.e. Salesforce).


PREFERRED:


  • Master’s in Business Administration.
  • Proficient in the patient simulation business.
  • Clinical and/or education experience in healthcare delivery and/or simulated clinical practice
  • Experience with software design and development


GENERAL:


  • Complies with and enforces all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures both at CAE Healthcare and wherever CAE Healthcare is represented (i.e., program site, trade show, etc.).
  • Performs all duties in compliance with and enforces all applicable legal and ethical standards including: CAE’s Code of Business Conduct, CAE’s policies and procedures, country laws and regulations, Federal and States or Provincial Laws, policies and standards.
  • Maintains security of all proprietary information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
