Junior Developer - CIRCA £21,000 – Manchester/Hybrid

Are you a junior developer who loves emerging technologies and wants to make a difference in education? If so, our client's EdTech start-up might be the perfect place for you!

Our client creates innovative and engaging educational resources using augmented reality, interactive animation, 3D modelling, gamification and personalisation. Their mission is to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical learning and cater to different learning styles and preferences.

They are looking for a junior developer who is passionate about mixed reality and game design, and who can work well in a team and adapt to the needs of a fast-paced start-up environment. You will be involved in various aspects of developing their applications, from designing features and testing functionality to fixing bugs and improving performance.

To apply for this role, you should have:

· A degree in computer science or related field or have undertaken a coding bootcamp.

· Experience in Unity or Unreal Engine would be an advantage, though not essential.

· Knowledge of C#, C++ or Java

· Familiarity with AR/VR technologies such as ARCore, ARKit or Vuforia

· Ideally a portfolio of projects or games that demonstrate your skills and creativity.
