Our studio was founded in 2008 by several Treyarch veterans as The Workshop. For eight years, we built our reputation in the AAA console space working on hit titles such as Gears of War, XCom 2, Sorcery and The Evil Within.


In 2016, we joined forces with Skydance Media to form Skydance Interactive and set our sights on becoming the premiere studio in the burgeoning arena of Virtual Reality. Following the success of our first VR title Archangel, we elevated our ambition and tackled The Walking Dead universe in VR. The result was the 2018 genre-defining hit The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners.


Our game development studio is currently seeking a talented technical support representative with 1-3 years of experience. This person will work alongside other technical support team members to provide overall IT support to our studio. This role will be assisting in the day-to-day IT needs of the operation.


Duties include, but are not limited to:


  • Inventory and asset management (ManageEngine)
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments from various vendors/partners
  • Facilitate shipping of IT items via FedEx or Skydance courier vendors
  • Organize studio’s tech storage facilities
  • Basic administration and troubleshooting of desktop, laptops, and other hardware
  • Troubleshooting VPN issues (OVPN, Aruba VIA)
  • Assist with network management and maintenance
  • Assist/troubleshoot users via remote methods (RDP/Teamviewer, Zoom/Slack)
  • Perform (or learn to perform) custom PC builds
  • Respond and/or generate IT tickets
  • Assist with onboarding newly hired team members


Requirements:


  • 1+ years experience in IT support supporting PC/Windows environment
  • Experience with inventory and asset tracking software
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Able to adapt and learn new things quickly
  • Candidate should be service oriented and have genuine concern for needs of the staff
  • Willingness to work outside of normal working hours to accommodate project work that must occur
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work in the United States


Pluses:


  • Strong background in IT inventory and asset management systems
  • Avid video gamer player with an enthusiasm for VR games


The hourly rate range for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles is $18.00 – $22.00. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
