Day-to-Day:
A large client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior VR/AR Prototyper to help explore what tomorrow's AR/VR experiences will look and feel like. You will work within the research team to help invent the future of avatars in the metaverse.
In this role, you will help create, refine, and integrate a range of 3D character and environment assets - both photoreal and stylized - into groundbreaking immersive, interactive research demo experiences.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Must have extensive experience with human avatar creation
- Brainstorm and create new interactive 3D experiences, with high-end characters, creatures, props and environments in both Unity (C#) and Unreal Engine (Blueprint).
- Intermediate knowledge of Linux and Windows OS.
- Solid knowledge of Maya and/or Blender as it pertains to character rigging and deformation.
- Troubleshoot complex AR/VR systems, body tracking equipment, and complex Linux/Windows computer systems.
- Design, build and test advanced animation setups, user UIs in these environments.
- Build 'Demo - Experiences' (pared down interactive 'scenarios' - not games) to evaluate strengths/weaknesses of new software/hardware/approaches, and showcase the work of the team, including varying degrees of narrative and artistic 'wrapping'.
