Description
The immersive media team is responsible for researching new forms of 3D and interactive media (e.g. games) beyond the capabilities of 2D video. Examples include holograms and other forms of volumetric media that can be consumed on emerging display technology such as VR head mounted displays, AR glasses, and holographic wall-mounted displays. The candidate intern will be responsible for developing interactive digital content using tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, and Blender. State-of-the-art immersive technologies will be utilized in the project.

Responsibilities
- Develop an immersive, interactive digital application
- Work with 3D rendering and modeling tools to create CG media
- Demonstrate the completed project at the end of the internship
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Programming skills in C, C++, or C# required
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine or Unity Engine strongly preferred
- Familiarity with graphics pipelines, AR/VR development, and machine learning (especially in a graphical context) preferred
- Excellent written, oral, and communication/presentation skills
Required Experience
- Education: Pursuing bachelor’s/master’s in computer science or related field
- Previous Internship experience if applicable
