3 D Artist

My client is looking for a 3D Artist who is skilled in creating three-dimensional models, artwork, animations and effects to be utilised in a variety of creative projects. You will partner closely with our Design & Engineering teams to define and develop content in modern real-time environments through exploring, creating art pipelines, and building assets that help teams execute designs that will define the future of AR/VR. Our creative teams, spread across several exciting locations, are focused on creating content that invites users to engage in immersive, real-time experiences.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing high quality, photorealistic rendering for product animation.
  • Create concept art and storyboard.
  • Possible to work in different sector upon request (modeling, animating, lighting etc.)
  • Tight schedule and revisions are expected.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills And Abilities)
  • Proficient with at least one major 3D package like Blender, 3DS Max, or Maya.
  • Proficient at 3D sculpting, retopologizing, UV & texturing assets from reference or concept art.
  • Ability to create both high and low poly models, rip clean normal maps from high poly assets.
  • Solid understanding of UV layout for efficient texture usage and light-maps.
  • Solid knowledge of PBR material authoring tools (Substance Painter or Quixel Suite).
  • Experience with polygonal optimization and LOD creation.
  • Experience with asset pipeline, integrating 3D models, textures etc. into Unity 3D.
  • Experience with simple video compositing (Combine 3D & 2D elements or animation into a video).
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a proactive nature.
  • Ability to work in a team and to integrate director feedback quickly.
  • Flexible to changes in production and able to shift focus between a range of tasks.
  • Ability to finish tasks within a given timeframe.

Preferred Qualification
  • Any experience creating content for VR.
  • UX/UI skills for VR/AR a plus!
  • Scripting experience in JavaScript, C#, or LUA.
  • Digital sculpting using ZBrush or Mudbox.
  • Rigging and animation skills in Maya, After Effects or Motionbuilder.
  • Unreal Engine, Steam Workshop or Source2 experience.
