AR Specialist

R2Net is a diamond bridal jewelry company with a technology soul. R2Net Inc. is an innovative technology company that provides e-commerce and supply chain platforms to connect the entire span of the diamond industry’s ecosystem, including manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will support the Accounts Receivable portion of our accounting department. Reporting to the AR Manager, this individual will help manage the accounting and collection of money owed from various parties. They work alongside our customer service team to track and collect payments and ensure that all bills are paid on time, while reporting directly to the manager.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze database reports and support with the translation to Excel spreadsheets, and accounting software.
• Ensure all documents and data are accurate and complete for the AR Manager to solidify.
• Retain and oversee that all data quality and consistency is correct.
• Quality check payment discrepancies with outside clients and review error reports.
• Able to instruct and guide AR team on multiple systems to research any issues within the processes.
• Investigate customer chargebacks, while obtaining proper information and correct review for the manager.
• Assist the Inventory, Accounts Payable, Customer Service departments as needed.
• Maintain respective month-end closing and year-end closing functions for accounts receivable.
• Ad hoc projects and working on all AR functions as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 2 years experience in accounting or relevant work experience.
• Experience working in Accounts Receivable with an E-commerce or Retail business preferred.
• Great understanding of Excel with QuickBooks also a plus.
• Experienced with preparing and reviewing bank reconciliations.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ensuring accuracy.
• Team focused mentality and able to support team members.
• High level of organization and able to streamline functions for team.
• Able to build interpersonal relationships through productive communication.

• Base pay $55,000 - $65,000. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
