About this Job

Eridan is currently building out our Operations team. As a Documentation Specialist you will be responsible for managing the intake, handling, and storage of documentation for project-related documents and maintaining Eridan’s document management system. This position will support the design, planning, and execution of company objectives by providing the team with the necessary information and by ensuring accurate and complete documentation.

A successful Documentation Specialist will be highly organized, flexible, and resourceful, with the ability to think critically and make improvements. Given our anticipated growth, a Documentation Specialist at Eridan must be willing to learn new techniques quickly and be able to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for data driven individuals who are comfortable working with a cross-disciplinary approach to solve problems independently as well as in a team. We look for individuals with persistence, curiosity, and excellent communication skills.

As our Documentation Specialist, you will:

  • Support the generation, release and maintenance of Engineering documentation
  • Maintain project correspondence (electronic and hard copies when necessary)
  • Create and maintain documentation standards and templates for across teams
  • Support the development of a standardized document system
  • Review, update and collect approvals of data and document releases and changes for design, manufacturing and quality control
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive document
  • Prepare ad-hoc templates, reports on projects as required

Qualities of a Successful Candidate

  • Solid understanding of the document change control process
  • 3+ years of experience with document control processes
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Basic understanding of engineering, technical concepts and verbiage
  • Experience with documentation requirements for integrated products, software and hardware
  • Experience using document control management tools (Confluence, EDM or PLM systems)
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills

Due to the nature of our government contracts, you must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident to be considered for this position

Preferred Qualities/Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Atlassian Jira
  • Technical writing experience
  • Experience with PCB based products
  • Ability to network and build relationships
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment as part of a cross-functional team

Given our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Salary will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors.The base salary range for the primary location of this role is between $75,000 and $110,000 plus stock options and benefits.
