We are looking for bright and energetic students for great internship opportunities within Qualcomm’s Organizations for our 2023 Intern Class!

As an IT Engineering Intern, you will work to develop, implement, and maintain various technologies for the organization.

To round out your summer internship, we host professional development workshops, social events, cross-functional speaker sessions, and an executive speaker series. This internship will also serve as an interview, evaluating you for future full-time positions at Qualcomm upon completion of your undergraduate/graduate degree.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, engineering, information technology, project management, cybersecurity, or a related field
• Must be available for 11 – 14 weeks during summer 2023 (May-September) with a graduation date of December 2023 or later
  
  

Successful candidates will have experience in one or more of the following Information Technology Tracks:

IT ENGINEERING

• Experience with Automation Tools Development, CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins), Source Control Management, Software Integration, Scripting, and working in a DevOps Environment, Ansible
• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure
• Python
• Web Development
  
  

DATA ANALYST

• Experience in ML, Predictive Modeling, and creating Test Plans
• Must have Design & Analytical Skills: Test Execution and Results
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis for 2G-5G
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Strong knowledge of Statistics, Optimization, and Machine Learning Algorithms
• Knowledge of programming and using visualization tools such as Python, R, and Tableau.
  
  

CYBERSECURITY

• Knowledge of Cybersecurity Principals, Statistics, ML/AI
• Experience with Windows & Linux (Any Distribution)
• Java, C, C++, C#, Python Bash, Perl
  
  

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Waterfall/Agile/Scrum
• PMP/Scrum master
• Tableau Status Reporting & risk management
  
  

SYSTEM ANALYST

• Experience in Trouble Shooting, Analysis of Production systems or applications, System specification creation, and review
• Ability to conduct QA Testing
  
  

INFRASTRUCTURE & CLOUD

• Experience in Networking, Infrastructure Automation, End-user Services, Collaboration, and Communication Tools
• Knowledge of Servers (Physical, Virtual), Cloud (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP)
• Practical experience developing software or meeting operational needs with code and scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, and/or Java)

Pay Range

$17.00 - $98.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
