Nike 3D Pipeline Engineer

Location: Fully Remote

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of industry experience in a technical/development role with a scripting/development focus in Python
  • 3+ years of industry experience developing 3D pipelines and/or working within 3D engineering environments.
  • 2+ years of industry experience with optimizing and scripting for a common game engine (Unreal, Unity, etc.)
  • Experience with various renderers (Vray, Arnold, Renderman, Octane, or similar).
  • Experience writing tools for 3D modeling and animation software (Maya, Modo, Cinema4D, or similar)

Bonus Skills

  • Background in AR, VR, Pixel Streaming, other interactive experiences
  • Background working within cloud environments (AWS)
  • Automation experience in test and/or build and release


Nike is looking to bring a 3D Pipeline Engineer to join the Product Innovation and Development team and assist with the Python and C++/C# software engineering. This person will come onto the team with the knowledge of a variety of 3D applications (Maya, Modo, Cinema4D, etc.) and python development. The ideal candidate will come from a background in 3D animation, gaming development, visual effects, or virtual reality using tools like Unreal, Unity, etc.. On a day-to-day basis this person will be working Agile in a team of 4-6 other team members: writing software to help bring applications together, assisting in the workflow for their 3D creators, and connecting the applications together for their design platforms/applications.
