Job Description

As a Video Editor, you will join our team of talented visual storytellers to produce cutting-edge media for major technology companies. You must have the ability to work closely with our directors, producers, and project leads, to tell engaging stories through video. You must be able to work quickly in a challenging, yet fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will bring your technical expertise to all aspects of post-production, and your experience editing short and long form content.

YOUR ROLE

As a video editor you will:

• Work on a wide variety of projects, from interview focused, doc-style videos and branded storytelling, to product demos and partner webinars.
• Manage the organization of project media and assets throughout the editorial process
• Work closely with Producers, designers, and creative directors in a collaborative environment.
• Complete assignments in a timely manner with a constant awareness of review cycles and deadlines
• Execute edit notes from your project team and work with your producer to deliver all required video assets on time.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years of video editing experience
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Expert-level Adobe Premiere knowledge
• Proficiency in After Effects is a big plus
• Outstanding collaboration, conceptual, and technical skills
• Passion for learning and keeping up on current video trends
• Strong focus on detail and quality in your work
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Strong ability to multitask and drive multiple projects at a time

SET YOURSELF APART

• Experience working with major tech brands such as Amazon, Microsoft, or Google
• Experience with color correction and grading
• Experience as a post supervisor
• Experience Sound editing/mix
• Knowledgeable with Adobe After Effects and motion design
• Familiarity with augmented reality (AR) and/or virtual reality (VR) trends
