We are searching for a talented Learning Experience Designer (Instructional Designer) to help us deliver effective and innovative learning solutions for our customers. The learning content will focus on workplace skills, such as presentations, sales, leadership, and management.

You’ll conceptualise, design, and develop (with the help of the product team) training in formats ranging from virtual reality (VR) to self-paced e-learning.

You’ll work with partners and colleagues to understand the customer's needs and deliver high-quality content. You’ll also measure the success of the training content and use that information to iterate and improve learning experiences over time.

As the first Instructional Designer within VirtualSpeech, you will play a critical role in shaping how we build best-in-class professional development training for the modern workplace.

Role Description

• Designing and developing blended learning solutions, including e-learning, virtual reality, practice exercises, and live practice.
• Designing curriculum and content on a variety of business-related topics, including public speaking, leadership, management, sales, remote working, and more
• Selecting instructional strategies to meet the needs of learners while keeping pace with a fast-moving product development
• Working with a variety of stakeholders to develop new training materials
• Using data and research to identify and fill opportunities in our learning materials
• Multimedia development in audio and video formats (Premiere Pro or similar)
• Experience with emerging trends for content creation (e.g. gamification, virtual reality, and xAPI)

Qualifications:

• You have at least 2 years of experience as an instructional designer or learning experience designer in a corporate setting
• You’re familiar with a blended learning strategy, as well as development and measurement frameworks
• You can design content that is clean and on-brand
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with remote teams, and comfortable working remotely
