Job Description:

We are hiring a Developer Relations Manager at our Austin, TX headquarters to manage our collaboration and partnerships with game developers and publishers. As a Virtuix evangelist, you are passionate about VR, gaming, and the exciting possibilities the Omni brings to the VR landscape. You are knowledgeable about game development and comfortable reaching out to studios, giving public presentations, and fostering relationships to bring games to the Omni One store. Working with developers and partners, you will give demonstrations of the Omni One SDK and attend industry events.

You will become part of a great team at a company that is pioneering the new wave of virtual reality innovation. Responsibilities:

• Identify VR games that would be a good fit for Omni One.
• Reach out to game developers and publishers, present the benefits of bringing their games to the Omni One store, and negotiate content licensing agreements.
• Test and review Omni One games and provide feedback to developers.
• Collaborate with the Virtuix game development and software teams to respond to developers’ questions regarding the Omni One SDK via email, phone, and online forums.
• Create developer content including blog posts, guides, and sample projects.
• Organize and/or attend meetups, hackathons, and developer events.
• Build long-term relationships and partnerships with key players in the VR Industry.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of game development with both Unity and Unreal game engines
• Passion for video games and virtual reality
• Outgoing personality, comfortable with outreach and public speaking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail
• Experience in a sales or business development role is a plus
• Experience with a CRM system is a plus
