Medtronic’s Structural Heart (SH) Global Field & Therapy Development (GFTD) team is looking for a project management professional to join our diverse team to support a new remote solution training effort across the globe. This role will help elevate GFTD’s focus to develop a virtual technologies strategy in support of our SH Field Teams & Corporate Employees globally.

A Day in the Life:
Virtual & Simulation Training Project Management
- Project Ownership from start to finish including creation of project plans and managing tasks to completion
- Partnership with training team (working group) for collaboration and contribution to the completion of all project objectives
- Development of Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), Extended Reality (XR) training strategies with training team
- Liaison to Medtronic Remote Solutions team for assessment & potential application of future technologies
- Liaison to Structural Heart Simulation Strategist for assessment, application & maintenance of simulators
- Work closely with Instructional Designer on curriculum design & development of remote solution training content
- Evaluate the effectiveness of new remote/virtual educational training programs and materials
- Simulator management, coordination, shipping & tracking of all technologies used by training SMEs
- Work with Medtronic Instructors on the successful delivery of Global Field & Therapy Development Virtual Training solutions
Training Support
- Coordination and communications for all SH Corporate Training programs
- Manage database as it relates to class schedule, employee data, enrollments, waitlists, completion records and reporting functions
- Creation of training agendas, materials, presentations, resource guides, etc.; ensure updates are conducted in a timely manner
- Coordination of all attendees, facilitators, and presenters
- Ensure all training spaces are set up and ready for learners when conducting in-person training events
- Ensure assessments, surveys and tests are formatted, delivered and tracked accordingly
- Attend trainings and assist facilitators and attendees as needed
- Assist in travel and logistics for both internal and external stakeholders, including international travel
- Works with cross-functional departments and stakeholders as needed to ensure project completion
- Some domestic & International travel possible (10%)
- Proactively takes meeting notes for project related meetings, conference calls; assigning action items to proper owners, distributes to team accordingly, & follow-ups up with action owners for accountability
- Key resource to ensure the team can navigate internal MDT systems to execute projects in a timely fashion
- Understands budgets, reports on expenses (internal and external) to ensure department objectives are met
- Tracks all actual spends for programs in a legible budget sheet and proactively sends to Director every quarter
- Assist in developing forms for educational tracking needs
- Meeting coordination across the team; including in-person and virtual meetings (Zoom)
- Travel coordination (responsible for both domestic and international travel)
- Manage contracting, communications & scheduling of global case observations
- Manage department’s calendar & scheduling for case observations, case presentations, live & recorded streaming events
- Ability to travel as appropriate for meeting logistic coordination (upon approval)
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years’ experience in role involving project management (5 years with Advanced Degree)
- Experience with Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Extended Reality (XR) technologies
- Microsoft Office, OneDrive, OneNote, TEAMs, SharePoint, Smart Sheet
Nice to Have:
- Certified Healthcare Simulation
- Medtronic experience a plus
- Preferred operating knowledge of Medtronic systems and programs (eCATS, EAU, FFTI, site builder, Siebel, One Source-PO’s, U-Ship, IT Ordering, Badge Requests, etc.)
- Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams, customers & vendors
