Job Description
The Digital Learning Designer at Logicearth is a member of the Learning Solutions team and will have a background in the design & digital development of scientific learning experiences using blended multimedia solutions ranging from web-based solutions, PowerPoint, video, and animation. You’ll also collaborate with other TCEG digital teams when projects utilize custom web applications, games, AR and VR. Your day-to-day collaboration will include working with a team of project managers, medical writers, instructional designers, and creative team members. The digital designer is expected to consult with their team to help propose and produce interactive solutions for independent, face-to-face, virtual and hybrid learning experiences for clients in the life sciences industry. The role is also responsible for leading the production of work within their team using bespoke and off-the-shelf tools including front-end web technologies, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360 and PowerPoint. A successful candidate will be a highly creative problem solver who loves to learn new skills, collaborate, design, and work across a variety of digital mediums.
Consulting Responsibilities
- Join brainstorms and contribute to ideas and solutions that create immersive and interactive learning experiences for scientific learning curriculums and workshops.
- Support project team with the creation of project briefs that capture the requirements and technical specifications of the project
- Become a trusted digital expert for TCEG’s digital learning capabilities and client learning system(s) requirements.
- Great collaborator who works well with a team of project managers, instructional designers, medical writers, and other creative and digital team members across the business.
- Offer insights into process, time and roles required to produce different types of digital solutions.
- Can confidently present ideas and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
Delivery Responsibilities
- Design and produce scalable digital learning content using HTML, CSS and off-the-shelf tools such as Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, and PowerPoint (using PowerPoint design & animation features)
- Produce digital prototypes and templates that adhere to brand guidelines and functional requirements
- Edit and produce graphics for digital content when needed using Adobe tools.
- Design and develop content that incorporates video, audio, custom animation, and imagery.
- Basic editing of audio and video files as needed. Experience producing 2D animation and short films using stock imagery/footage is a plus.
- Testing digital content in client learning management systems (LMS) using industry standard APIs for tracking (ie., SCORM & xAPI). Experience with JavaScript is a plus.
- Support teams with setting up and using off-the-shelf audience engagement tools such as Slido, Kaoot!.
- Explore and learn new skills and tools.
- Experience working with JavaScript frameworks (ex., NodeJS, VueJS), CSS processors (LESS & SASS), and Git is a plus.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic or digital design or similar field
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Able to work across multiple projects and be flexible to changes
- Excellent collaborator and team player
- Attention to detail (both design and functionality)
- Eye for detail and creative. Can work independently and as a team member.
- Familiar with digital UI, UX, and mobile responsive design principals
- Ex and UI design and editing tools
- Experience developing learning content using Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline) is strongly preferred.
- Hands on knowledge of HTML & CSS.
- Experience working in the life sciences field is a plus
