About The Opportunity


DMIis looking for a AR/VR Senior Software Engineer


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Work closely with the client to develop POC using AR/VR technology. Provide technical guidance and support as the client is in the early stage of exploring AR/VR technology.
  • Engage with the client to understand their functional and non-functional requirements, and then ensure that the end product delivered is aligned to the desired goals.
  • Design the technical solution based on the customer’s stated and unstated needs. Be innovative and flexible to adapt to meet changing client needs.
  • Analyze new trends and innovations in emerging technologies including AR/VR and identify their potential value based on the client’s needs and chosen strategic direction.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with the client team, with an analytical mind and problem-solving / troubleshooting skills
  • Work in a digital health space on an agile team to identify the use of technology solutions like AR/VR to ensure proper adherence to clinical studies. This includes creating solutions to educate the end user in an interactive way
  • Understand the ecosystem of technology the end study participant is interacting with to determine other integration touch points that could improve the overall experience.


Qualifications


Education and Years of Experience:


  • 7 to 10 years of software development experience with 3-5 years on iOS, Swift 4/5, Objective C, and Cocoa Touch


Required Skills/Certifications


  • Must have experience with AR Kit, Unity 3D, 3D Modelling, 3D Animation
  • Knowledge of tools for 3D visualizations and AR experiences
  • Experience with Computer Vision (Vision, OpenCV, etc)
  • Must be familiar with AR concepts like Tracking (World Tracking, Visual Inertial Odometry), Scene Understanding (Plane detection and Classifications, Hit-testing, Ray casting, Light estimation), Rendering (Scene kit, Sprite Kit, Reality Kit, Unity, Unreal), Environment Texturing, Object detection, People Occlusion, Location Anchors, Depth APIs (Depth Map, Confidence Map, etc), Feature detection, etc
  • Experience with AR Core will be added advantage
  • HoloLens Development toolkit experience a plus
  • Experience with BLE technology will be added advantage
  • Must have ability to travel to Indianapolis semi frequently 1-2 times a month.
