The US TikTok Operations organization aims to help the rest of TikTok grow and function. You will be working with a variety of stakeholders, including Product, Content Programming, Content Partnerships, Music Operations, Trust and Safety and others to ensure that we are creating the best possible experience for our internal stakeholders and our end users.
We're looking for an experienced community manager to work with our Product Management, Tools, Interactive Engineering, Multimedia Design and Marketing teams to build and grow a robust US community of creative technologists, designers and developers who use our AR creation tools and SDKs to create user-generated features and experiences for TikTok video creators.
As a member of the Product Operations team, you'll lead the recruitment, relationship management and operational programs to attract, support, educate and grow our US AR designer and developer ecosystem. You will help the next generation of TikTok designers to expand their presence on our platform. You'll also have a specific focus on managing and inspiring cross-functional partnerships between our developers and internal stakeholders; a key part of not only growing our Developer Ecosystem, but US TikTok. On the outbound side, you'll collaborate with our Content Programming and Marketing teams to incubate and scale a community of creative technologists who are developing innovative AR features and experiences for TikTok. On the inbound side, you'll work with our Product, Marketing, Digital media, and Content teams to ensure our AR creation tools and resources meet the needs of TikTok's designer and developer community.
Source, onboard and support a US ecosystem of designers and developers to build strong relationships and innovative AR features and experiences for TikTok
Develop strategies and programs to grow and scale the community and drive adoption of TikTok's AR platform, including high-impact virtual and in-person events (e.g., workshops, live streams, tutorials, meetups)
Establish resources and educate designers and developers on best practices, develop customized analytical strategies, help solve technical issues, and optimize overall performance
Provide technical and creative support and relationship management to designers and developers to drive long-term retention
Educate and upskill the community of TikTok AR designers and developers, including assisting with the production of learning resources, technical content and best practices
Gather feedback and insights from the designer and developer community to feed into the TikTok AR platform roadmap
Evangelize TikTok's AR platform within the creative community to drive awareness
Serve as a voice for the designer and developer community within TikTok
4+ years of experience building and managing creator/developer communities or partnerships
BS/BA in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to serve as a spokesperson for TikTok
Self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results with limited supervision
Passionate about TikTok and the latest AR technologies
Experience with creation/design tools (e.g., Adobe, Figma), 3D game engines or modeling/animation software (e.g., Unity, Unreal, Maya), and AR/VR platforms
Experience working on a global product with international partners in different time zones
