This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced VP Sales & Partnerships team member to join the fast-growing Aircards team. You’ll work with high-level decision makers at some of the most recognisable Global brands, guiding prospects with a strategic, consultative approach to selling. 


There will be a generous rewards package including a great baseline salary, bonus commission structure, medical benefits & more. You’ll report to the Chief Commercial Officer, working closely with the wider team and constantly striving to achieve specific commercial targets for which performance will be measured. 


Key responsibilities:


  • Prospect and qualify inbound and outbound sales and partnerships opportunities
  • Build and grow client relationships with new and existing clients
  • Strive to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual performance targets
  • Secure new commercial revenues for the company
  • Perform outreach duties and lead generation to potential clients
  • Implement Aircards established process for winning and ramping up new projects
  • Manage, write, assemble and finalize proposals / SOWs in partnership with Marketing, Operations and Development teams
  • Facilitate scope and pricing discussions with internal teams
  • Ideate and create lead generation strategies that deliver new prospects 
  • Be able to expertly communicate Aircards core services and value proposition to the client 
  • Create strong strategic relationships with clients and key decision makers
  • Collaborate with all departments (e.g., Creative, Technology, Project Management, etc.) to ensure the completion of proposed deliverables
  • Educate and inform prospective and current clients on the core functionality and value proposition of WebXR, delivering insight on how the technology can be leveraged for their own commercial success
  • Deliver a great experience to our clients and partners when working with our organisation - you will represent our brand and be our partners’ liaison internally
  • Keep a great ongoing relationships with current clients and partners and offer new ways to grow the relationship
  • Attend and participate in seminars, conferences and events, including opportunities for public speaking
  • Directly pitch ideas to clients and present to prospect agency partners or clients 
  • Become a trusted client partner that provides consultative service for the entire lifecycle of the project, starting from ideation/proposal
  • Manage several active high-profile project proposals simultaneously 
  • Facilitate brainstorm sessions both internally and externally for client projects
  • Present Aircards capabilities to prospective clients
  • Creative conceptualization tailored to campaign objectives, KPIs following receipt of project brief supplied by the client


Note: The role will require a level of flexibility when it comes to managing time, as being able to service the Global marketplace is a critical aspect of the role. The ideal candidate will show a willingness to adapt to this requirement and manage their time effectively so that they can organise sales calls that fit Global time zones, however with the main focus of the North American market as their core priority. 


Key requirements:


  • Experience working in sales environment with specific performance targets
  • Previous experience working in the AR, VR and Mixed Reality and immersive technology
  • Sales or Marketing background in Interactive/Digital Media on agency side
  • Proven track record of creating key client relationships and networking that result in new revenue opportunities
  • Proven track record of nurturing existing client relationships to create incremental revenue 
  • Demonstrated success establishing, expanding and closing project engagements of all sizes
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prospecting and outreach mentality
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to command a room with small and large announcements 
  • Enthusiastic, seasoned, clear thinking sales professional
  • Strategic thinker but also willing to do the day-to-day work
  • Track record of working with large agency partners
  • Strong organization, time management, prioritization skills and should be a motivated self-starter
  • Experience crafting SOWs and contracts and negotiating with clients and partners – effectively forecasting and scoping work
  • Be a great storyteller and confident closer
  • Instinctive and deep knowledge of the sales and procurement process 
  • Exceptional customer facing skills and strong operational ability
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate in a team-oriented multi-agency workplace; flexibility and accepting of ever-changing needs
  • Working knowledge of CRM, preferably Hubspot
  • Quality skills in problem solving, time management and collaborative teamwork
  • Ambition to grow the company with a personal stake in striving for success
  • Working knowledge of Google Business Suite, with strong understanding and experience with
  • Slides, PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Willing to take a flexible working approach and service Global time zones where required
  • MUST - Have existing contacts and past experience with Fortune 1000 brands, including the following industries ideally: Entertainment, Alcohol, FMCG, QSR, Automotive, Agencies 


Practical considerations: 


  • Remote working
  • Opportunities for travel to important marketplaces for high profile events (e.g. USA / EMEA etc)
  • Acting as company commercial lead in East Coast USA for any physical meeting requirements with overall focus on the North American market
  • Reporting and working in collaboration with Chief Commercial Officer (Lewis Collins)
