What you need to be successful:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily oversight of all EMs and their assigned clients
  • Effectively provide business intelligence on the health of Shockoe’s clients
  • Strategically partner with Shockoe’s Leadership and Sales Team in order to identify, nourish, and close new business accounts
  • Understand industry trends and how they tie to client needs to drive future opportunities
  • Create strategies to drive sales across the business and expand connections within the client base
  • Break down high level client requests into features to drive estimation and proposal process
  • Build and manage strong, positive relationship with our clients throughout the entire engagement and beyond
  • Serve as voice of the client internally and as point of escalation with the client on behalf of the Shockoe delivery team
  • Provide leadership and direct teams in the delivery of high-quality services within our committed timeframes
  • Position Shockoe as the expert, expand client awareness of our capabilities, and celebrate our successes
  • Stay abreast of what’s next in the mobile space; virtual reality, augmented reality, and voice recognition


Requirements:

  • Experience managing/overseeing engagement managers
  • Experience in the technology space (Preferably Mobile)
  • Proven success overseeing the account management & project lifecycle including; estimations, proposals, SOWs, project delivery, budget management, and resource allocation
  • Account management experience in software development; mobile experience preferred
  • Prior experience in a role that required building business by overseeing results driven delivery
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to all levels of an organization
  • Facilitation skills that include requirement sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • A solid understanding of Agile practices
