Sense Arena’s groundbreaking VR technology has been created by NHL coaches, players, and scientists from the Wisconsin University-Stevens Point and Charles University in Prague. 


Job brief

As the senior Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for the creation of social media strategies, the planning and execution of successful social media and influencer campaigns. You must be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement. The related KPIs for this position are Nr. of Followers on Sense Arena social media channels and engagement matrixes.

Ultimately, you should be able to increase brand awareness and audience engagement across a range of social platforms, and be able to report on the effectiveness of your activity and present ideas and results.

You’ll work closely with the other marketing members, business directors for hockey, product, customer care and report to the Chief Marketing Officer.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement social media strategy aligned with business goals
  • Set and execute the process for own or 3rd party content creation (graphic and copy guidelines, publishing calendars, approval process)
  • Identify, contract and manage content partnerships - influencers, brands, pro athletes, VIPs etc.
  • Content creation, editing and post-production (video and photo shooting and following editing, copywriting) for social media and other communication channels (newsletters, website, mobile apps)
  • Content publishing and sharing across Sense Arena social media channels (IG, FB, TT, LI, Twitter) and mobile apps
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, product and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Oversee social media accounts - design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures), implement new features 
  • Participate in event marketing and business activities in order to produce relevant brand content
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences


Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Social media manager
  • Hands on experience in content management (creation & editing - Photoshop, in Design, Cinema etc.)
  • High-level understanding of social listening and analytics tools
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Familiarity with web design, creative way of thinking, brand understanding
  • Excellent communication skills - native English speaker
  • Sports enthusiast, experience or knowledge of the hockey sport and communities
