Job Description:
Working on manual iOS testing, you will be responsible for assessing the quality of new and existing AR algorithms which run on iOS devices with LiDAR sensors. You will execute and improve test cases, as you learn about the functionality and use cases of cutting-edge algorithms. By building an intuitive understanding of these AR technologies, you will be able to find scenarios and aggressors that impact their quality or performance. When finding new issues, you will gather data demonstrating the problem, document the impact to the user experience, communicate with the development team, and work with them to isolate and resolve the issue. Prior experience with live software testing is expected, preferably on iOS or other mobile devices. Experience testing or developing AR/VR technologies is also preferred. An ideal candidate will be quick to understand new technologies, creative in their approach to testing and motivated to break software so that it may be improved. This is an exciting, demanding job where you'll get to interact with prototypes and technologies under development and where your work will directly contribute to the quality of the final product.
Key Qualifications:
- Interested in Computer Vision, Augmented Reality or Virtual Reality
- Live testing experience (software apps or other products) required
- Mobile device testing experience preferred
- Experience with terminal or other command line tools
- Able to assess and communicate issue impact and reproducibility
- Very curious, eager to learn about and break new software
- Organized and detailed oriented
- Able to manage tasks and balance their time while supporting multiple projects in parallel
