Cella is looking for an Account Supervisor with pharmaceutical and agency experience to join an award-winning, best-in-class in-house agency at a major pharmaceutical company. The role is a long-term opportunity and 100% remote.


The full-service agency produces print, digital, augmented/virtual reality, and video assets. The organization is constantly evolving and is looking for a savvy, client-friendly Account Supervisor to work with our clients and creatives. The in-house agency supports projects across all divisions and currently serves as agency of record for brands in both Human Health and Animal Heath.


The agency is consistently rated better than both similar in-house agencies and external competitors—overall and with respect to innovation, execution, and client support.


Responsibilities


  • Develops a “trusted advisor” relationship with aligned clients
  • Maintains the “big picture” for projects and client requirements ensuring that related deliverables are treated appropriately
  • Serves as initial point of contact (intake) for all aligned-client projects and recommends and advises clients on options and capabilities utilizing marketing best practices
  • Partners with clients to enhance creative brief quality and identify key messages
  • Evaluates creative brief content for completeness and actionable content that will enable the creative team to create on-target deliverables for the client
  • For Tier A & B projects involving multiple components, assists in strategic development, may prepare cost/time estimates, monitors progress, and tracks major milestones and actual costs against estimates
  • For Tier A & B projects, writes thorough and actionable project and/or creative briefs and reviews client contact reports
  • For Tier C projects, may create/guide/review creative briefs and job intake forms
  • Serves as the voice within the creative studio for the client and facilitates client interaction with the designers and writers as appropriate. Ensures that the creative team understands client requirements and perspective and that the final output aligns as appropriate.
  • Understand clients’ products, audiences and business objectives and ensures they are applied to client products; collaborates with PMs, designers and writers to ensure product delivers on client promises.
  • Acts as Brand Steward: reviews deliverables for quality, consistency, accuracy, and advancement of the visual and verbal brand in design reviews, and ensures that consistent image/message is conveyed across the client’s products.
  • Partners with and guides PMs to ensure proper project initiation and ongoing management of assigned creative resources
  • Attends intake, client reviews, and other client meetings. Helps client understand the importance of the brand and marketing objectives.
  • Sets expectations with clients, e.g., when and what they will see next as part of the creative process, budget and solution response expectations, and follow-up process and metrics expectations
  • Involves Account Manager and direct supervisor as appropriate and alerts him/her to potential challenges and opportunities for the Creative Services team
  • Works with manager and extended team to develop departmental standard operating procedures, workflows and enhanced infrastructure


Qualifications


  • BA/BS required
  • 8+ years agency experience, in-house agency experience preferred
  • 5+ years pharma or healthcare experience preferred
  • 3+ years account management-related experience
  • Experience with Veeva Vault Promomats
  • Exhibits ability to gain deep knowledge in specific channels or vertical markets as required by specific client’s business unit and larger organization’s industry
  • Writes and speaks effectively and is able to clearly articulate the team’s solutions in terms of the client’s business goals.
  • States opinions clearly and can verbally update clients on project status
  • Listens well and incorporates others viewpoints into project management process
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and collaboratively
  • Adept at crisis management, resourceful, and solution-oriented
  • Executes client requests and project management with accuracy, producing zero errors
  • Demonstrates strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrates thorough understanding of the creative process
  • Exhibits broad understanding of traditional and emerging channels
  • Demonstrates expertise in budget management
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively
  • Demonstrates expertise in applicable applications and tools such as Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
