PICO is one of the premier enterprise hardware companies in the rapidly growing VR market. The Interactive Video Content Center serves as the creative hub for the video content ecosystem of Pico at a global scale. Aimed at innovating and pioneering the narration and storytelling of VR media, the center works closely with world renowned artists, studios and distribution channels in VR content creation, production, investment and acquisition fields. This role will be a key contributor to growing and maintaining our unique position in the XR hardware market.


Responsibilities:

- Build US local and global business development strategy to drive business engagement growth with full ownership from ideation to achievement

- Responsible to scan the market for top-quality contents, development projects and cooperation opportunities

- Track and synthesize trends and takeaways from EU video markets, and turn those insights into actionable approaches. Advise internal stakeholders on iterations of business strategies and spearhead any initiatives that are deemed valuable

- Responsible to source, connect, identify business opportunities and negotiate with potential partners in the areas of sports, VR studios, entertainment and events.

- Prepare valuation analysis (model building, scenario testing) to support content deal decisions and negotiations

- Work closely with key internal stakeholders such as operations, Product, key members of leadership, vendor management, software developers, and Legal teams on various projects related to negotiating and securing partnerships.


Qualifications:

- BA/BS degree and working knowledge of business-related fields required

- 7+ years in business development, negotiation, consulting, preferably in the content space

- Deep understanding of the VR content industry is a strong plus

- Extensive and meaningful network with key partners in the US, proven ability to identify early opportunities and drive decision-making process across functional teams, lead and execute license or investment deals

- Excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking, puzzle-solver and go-getter.
