Senior Manager, Product Management, Shopping Path, SEO & Community
Your role at Sephora... As our Senior Manager, Product Management, you will lead the product team who is responsible for the front-end digital shopping experience including, the responsive website (Sephora.com); the Sephora Community (community.sephora.com); User-Generate Content (UGC), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Videos and Augmented Reality (AR) features across site and apps (iOS and Android). This team also ensures our client-facing site and apps user experience (UX) are compliant with legal regulations such as ADA and CCPA.
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, Client Conversion, you will oversee a team of product managers ranging from associate level to senior PdMs. With your passion for e-commerce, customer focus, data obsession and your experience in people leadership, your role will be highly visible across Sephora, including Leadership, Client Experience, Marketing, Business Analytics, Personalization (CRM), Product Management, Technology, and UX departments.
This position has a high level of exposure throughout the digital organization and the candidate must demonstrate strong leadership and influence with the ability to communicate a clear product vision to both business and technical partners.
Your responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of Product Managers with a supportive, positive, coaching based approach.
- Responsible for leading product vision for two+ Agile Development Teams (aka PODs).
- Working with your team, along with our Technology and Business partners, you will define and maintain the Shopping Path, SEO & Community 2-3 year roadmap and product domain strategy.
- Embrace and execute the Shopping Path, SEO and Community vision, which will focus on creating a frictionless, engaging and delightful experience across website and apps. Goals include increasing conversion rate (CR%), average order value (AOV), revenue per visitor (RPV); driving organic traffic to the site; building social proof.
- Define metrics for success and continually measure progress across the domains.
- You will help your team of product managers identify and prioritize business requests and other opportunities to drive the Shopping Path, SEO and Community KPIs to maintain our position as the market leader in online beauty.
- Strive to be data-informed about the Shopping Path, SEO and Community domains in order to assess opportunities, determine business impact and prioritize feature requests and enhancements.
- You will collaborate with key executive stakeholders, balancing competing interests and needs across the organization to arrive at a clear vision, communicating effectively and aligning various partners along the way.
- As a member of the Product Management organization, you will work closely with other Product Managers to leverage best practices across digital channels, work on projects that impact multiple product domains and assess cross platform impacts.
- Pro-actively monitor industry trends in digital experiences including new capabilities, technology, vendors and tools specifically related to online shopping, user-generated content (UGC), SEO and Augmented Reality (AR).
- Your team will manage Sephora’s relationship with various technology vendors, including: Khoros, Pixlee, BazaarVoice, Olapic, plus others.
- Drive continual improvements and inform the Shopping Path, SEO & Community roadmap with new ideas based on ongoing user research (qualitative & quantitative), AB & MVT experimentation, market/competitive analysis, and product/feature performance.
- Create, document, implement & maintain processes where needed to achieve desired strategies, and support Sephora Tech’s agile transformation.

- 3-5 years of experience effectively managing people in product or technical roles.
- 8-10 years in B2C product development related roles, with a successful history of launching highly effective products for large transactional websites.
- 8+ years of experience in product management with a successful history of launching highly effective products for large transactional websites.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking and practical organizational planning skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and ability to partner both with business and technical teams.
- Deep understanding of the Sephora client, and an ability to identify and articulate opportunities.
- Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities & business needs, and in managing diverse teams & people.
- Proven ability to meet critical deadlines while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and vendor partners.
- Self-sufficient with ability to operate effectively without close supervision.
- Demonstrates experience with an agile sprint development cycle and release process.
- Comfortable navigating web analytics and a/b testing tools.
- Data-driven decision making and experience conducting and interpreting quantitative user research.
- Experience using JIRA and agile methodologies.
- Experience with responsive web design (RWD) and with native Android and iOS e-commerce applications.
- Familiar with roadmap tools, such as Aha!, ProductPlan, JIRA Align, etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline required. Master’s Degree a plus.

The salary range for applicants who will work remotely in/ from Colorado is $117,540 - $188,100. Compensation is based on several bona fide factors including but not limited to education, work experience, industry experience, geographic location, etc.
