Marketing, PR & Social Account Coordinator

Zebra Partners is a fast growing and well-respected US and global public relations and marketing firm. We are experts in video gaming, emerging technology, and consumer entertainment products. We want to add a Marketing, PR, and Social Account Coordinator to our team to work in our growing emerging tech and video game groups.

We need someone who’s excited to push the limits of PR, marketing and social and bring creativity (inspired by data) to our amazing clients daily. If you’re excited to work in a fast-paced environment, are a self-starter and able juggle and prioritize projects across various accounts each day, then keep reading. We’re virtual, so you can be based anywhere in the U.S., but may need you to travel for in-person meetings and industry events on occasion.

About the position: The role is never boring. You’re working on cutting-edge tech, household name products, and maybe the next big VR experience. Key responsibilities include:

• Execute marketing, PR, and social activities.
• Conduct research; stay on top of client-related trends; join team brainstorm sessions; help with ideation, plan development and execution of projects and campaigns.
• Develop social media strategy and content and help execute viral programs and campaigns.
• Under the supervision of the account leads, drive media and creator lists that are best fit for our clients and will eventually help with outreach/engagement.
• Prepare press announcements, organize online documents for team use, and collect and produce monthly media coverage reports.
• Take notes and serve up next steps following team and client meetings,
• Potentially help with new business decks, content projects, and event coordination and planning.

Requirements include:

• 2+ years of professional experience in the field of PR and marketing
• Passion for new technology and consumer entertainment products and into mixed reality experiences
• Strong organization/project management skills; must have attention to detail and work in a tight schedule and be a self-starter that isn’t afraid to work hard, learn and wants to grow
• Professional, personable, able to think on your feet and create order from ambiguity
• Must be self-motivated, full of initiative, and be able to work independently
• Highly communicative; ability to present ideas succinctly and firmly; excellent written and verbal skills
• Proficient in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), other software and communications tools (experience with media databases, i.e., Cision, MuckRack, a plus)
• Ability to conduct extensive research for clients, competitive categories, and new business efforts
• Strong social media skills and understands methods and how to use them to support clients

Desirables:

• Agency experience (PR or Marketing)
• Demonstrable experience delivering business results in social media

Rate: Hourly rate commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position.
