The Innovation Demo Studio is focused on helping NIKE innovators tell their stories via digital artifacts developed to communicate the innovative vision and build a sense of both the successes and possibilities among internal team members, partners, and strategic collaborators. We unlock compelling and engaging ways to share ideas, prototypes, and research that uses new multi-media communication and storytelling capabilities

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The Director of Innovation Demo Studio is a strategic problem-solver and innovator, passionate about bringing innovation to life through storytelling and video production. You are a strong leader, capable of building and managing a new team and partnering with many teams across NIKE. You have a track record of innovative use of emerging technologies and immersive storytelling.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

In this role, you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the Demo Studio and hiring a team to enable end-to-end production capabilities. You will collaborate with teams within the Technology Innovation Office and Global Technology teams to develop creative assets including compelling narratives, demos, showcases, and innovation reels to build partner support for innovative ideas and promote a collaborative and creative team spirit.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

This role will work with the VP of the Technology Innovation Office. You will work closely with the TIO’s studio leads and Global Technology teams to implement projects and collaborations. You will work with the Demo Studio team to determine priorities and team goals and collaborate with external partners and agencies to bring creative concepts to life.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

• Demonstrable expertise in Computer Science, Engineering, or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
• 8+ years of validated experience in product innovation or entrepreneurship
• 4+ years of experience with content production and distribution
• Experience releasing and promoting video content via various channels, such as email,
• social media, and messaging apps
• Ability to lead by example and collaborate with various technical and business partners
• Ability to drive vision, strategic direction, goal setting, decision making, and execution in complex and ambiguous environments - “full stack” product management capabilities
• Comfortable working with a diverse team of developers, engineers, scientists, and designers
• Demonstrated leadership experiences with hiring, growing, and managing high-potential teams through coaching, training, and mentorship
• Experience building products with a focus on understanding the true consumer need, using that as a guiding principle to build stellar products, ideally in the sport and movement space
• Experience with AR/VR/XR and an understanding of the potential of these technologies in creating the future of storytelling
