Job Description

We are looking for an Executive Producer to join our Experience team in New York.   The EP must have an excellent understanding of The Mill's strategic goals and be instrumental in delivering increased sales and in encouraging greater bottom-line profits for the Experience Team.

The Experience Executive Producer is primarily an outwardly orientated, client facing role, requiring excellent communication skills. Fostering and developing extremely strong client relationships within Experiential and Emerging Technoloy for Brands and Agencies.

Sales
  • Develop sales strategies for both short term and long term business relationships
  • Proactive in the task of winning new business
  • Targeting clients and accounts to be won by The Mill and define client specific strategies to win business
  • Establish new clients for The Mill Experience Team
  • Build a pipeline of new projects and clients for The Mill Experience Team
  • Win new business in collaboration with the Growth Department through Brand Relationships
  • Network with brands, agencies, and tech companies
  • Develop and maintain relationships to sell The Mill Experience Team
  • Work closely with our reps to help define potential clients, sales/marketing opportunities and PR exercises both on a short term and a long term 'bigger picture' basis.
  • Present the Mill Experience teams capabilities and creds
  • Respond to incoming project requests, serves as a first point of contact and communation for new client work and projects
Pitches And New Business
  • Oversee pitches for new Experience projects and work in collaboration with the Growth department and Sales Team to win pitches and new business
  • Manage scope definition and sales pitches with clients
  • Partner closely with the Growth team on all new business activity including pitches, pursuing new clients and growing existing partnerships.
Production
  • Monitor the satisfaction of existing clients and ensure that they continue to use The Mill.
  • Liaise closely with the HOPs and the EPs all offices to ensure good communication regarding sales and the successful hand over of jobs between The Mill offices and Mill departments
  • Maximise revenue and utilisation of The Mill Experience by having an overview of the work going through each site and encouraging effective scheduling and efficiency of resources.
  • Develop and maintain an 'ear' to the market and disseminate relevant information to the production team and key staff at The Mill.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5-7 years client facing experience working in New Business and Sales
  • Proven ability to negotiate large deals and close contracts
  • Excellent presentation, public speaking, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work well under pressure of multiple deadlines and assignments
  • Previous experience working within the advertising industry and emerging technology, Experience working directly in the technology industry, whether in an agency, brand marketing, production vendor or start-up environment
  • Understanding of Experience and Immersive Work (VR, AR, and Real-Time), Knowledge of other production disciplines (video, stills etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels, effective communication skills are a must
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Communications, Marketing, Statistics or Advertising a plus. 
  • Being multilingual will be a plus due to the nature of our global teams and client base. 
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to go the extra mile.
