Meta is driving employee productivity into the Metaverse. We are increasing employee enablement and connectedness using evolving technologies in a variety of spaces including XR (Extended Reality encompassing Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality). Within the Collaboration Technology division of the Enterprise Engineering (EE) Department, the Productivity Accelerator team is operationalizing innovative technologies and XR technologies in the enterprise for Meta workers. We are seeking an experienced, insightful Organizational Change Lead to fill a new role on the team, driving change management initiatives for various productivity solutions. The Change Management Lead will enable Meta workers to quickly and efficiently adapt to the implementation of new technology by understanding how changes affect people and their work. This role is pivotal in driving new productivity solutions and enabling the Monday - Friday Metaverse at Meta.


Organizational Change Management Lead Responsibilities:


  • Initiate a change manage practice within the Productivity team with standards, processes, tools, documentation
  • Plan for scale and expansion
  • Develop training programs and documentation to help teams implement various practices that would make transitions easier
  • Contribute to broader, comprehensive training initiatives to ensure consistency in processes, standards, and support
  • Create change management plans, processes, and tools to help Meta workers adopt new productivity solutions and address change concerns
  • Support all efforts to communicate the changes, along with the ways to reduce their impact on employees
  • Conduct studies and analyses to assess how the changes impact employees, which teams are ready to implement them, and how to proceed
  • Consult and coach program/project teams on role/responsibilities and importance of planning for change
  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
  • Develop training programs and documentation to help teams implement various practices that would make transitions easier
  • Identify risks associated with proposed changes and identify mitigation strategies
  • Manage identified resistances
  • Create solutions for identifying, tracking and analyzing issues that arise as a result of change implementation including response strategies
  • Creating relevant metrics to measure the success of an implemented change


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Communication and interpersonal experience, including relationship building and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Project management experience specifically related to implementing large-scale change within a company
  • Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in organizational behavior, organizational development and/or organizational psychology
  • 5+ years experience applying change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Experience identifying risks, issues, blocks and come up with solution options
  • Experience influencing others to quickly adapt to change
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking skills and understanding of how change can impact an organization in a number of ways, both at the moment they are implemented and in the future


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Change Management experience related to deploying XR solutions or other emerging technologies
