The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

Within EFT, the Cyber Hygiene Technology team is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer (Senior Software Engineer) to implement and support the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) and/or Vendor Risk Management (VRM) modules. This role will partner with Technical Governance, Platform Architecture and ServiceNow Developers to ensure that design, coding and practices are in alignment with scalable enterprise solutions. This role will take on application development responsibilities for Wells Fargo's ServiceNow Cyber Security applications supporting Cyber Security Technology (ICS).

In This Role, You Will
  • Implement solutions, by configuring and customizing scripting, for all components of the ServiceNow VR & VRM products.
  • Lead the conceptualization, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing features for the existing portfolio of applications for a business area.
  • Design, code, configure, unit test, maintain, and document software deliverables using agreed upon standards and tools.
  • Ensure that solutions delivered by self or team members are secure and scalable, comply with defined standards and best practices.
  • Code ServiceNow solutions within an Agile Framework

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of ServiceNow experience in building, implementing, and maintaining platform technologies, workflows and integrations
Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) or Vendor Risk Management (VRM) module experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • One or more of the following ServiceNow certifications: (CSA) Certified Systems Administrator, (CIS) Certified Implementation Specialist, or (CAD) Certified Application Developer
  • Agile experience
