Job Details

Requirements

• Experience designing virtual reality user interfaces and cross-platform game interactions (headset, desktop, mobile)
• Intuition for VR/AR rendering performance on various hardware platforms (Quest, Desktop) and rendering techniques (multi-pass)
• Low-level C++/Rust/WebAssembly code
• Own a Quest 2
• Understanding of inverse kinematics principles (solving bone constraints)
• Strong in 3D math, including matrices, vectors, quaternions, trigonometry, and reference frames
• Strong performance profiling ability (hit headset frame rate targets)
• Network code (voice, entity-component sync, bone transfers, etc)
• Bonus points for working with WebXR and/or implementing a gun and a sword in VR

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and lead development of VR/AR integration in a game engine
• Integrate complex pose processing into an avatar system (HMD, controllers, hand tracking, eye tracking, visemes, phonemes)
• Design virtual reality user interfaces and cross-platform game interactions (headset, desktop, mobile)
• Build immersive virtual experiences
