Job Description

Artiphon is seeking an experienced AR software engineer to help us grow our family of music technology products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• • Write modern, clean, and maintainable code for multiple platforms
• • Build widely-used applications for mobile and desktop platforms
• • Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product owners to advance our products and processes by identifying and solving challenging issues
• • Use common and modern technologies such as Apple Metal API, ARKit, RealityKit, Xcode, Swift, etc. 
• • Impact the technological direction company-wide

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• • Ability to take responsibility to scope, collaborate, and develop a technology roadmap in sync with our backlogs and product owners in an agile environment
• • Significant professional experience writing production code and a strong knowledge of Apple’s Metal API, Swift, and AR toolkits
• • Demonstrated experience creating Metal shaders (show examples) 
• • Being actively involved in the music technology domain
• • A degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or similar
• • Experience with Audio/MIDI on mobile and desktop platforms
• • Experience with connected devices, protocols and collaboration with firmware engineers
• • Experience in understanding and refactoring large grown code bases
• • Experience with complex multithreaded architectures
• • Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing
• • High level of motivation and interest to collaborate within the team
