Job Description
Red Storm Entertainment is on the hunt for a highly looking for a new champion in production, a talented and creative individual to join our amazing crew! In this role, you will work with VR experts from around the world to develop a flagship VR game that will set new standards on the platform, a unique way to experience Assassin’s Creed like you’ve never seen before. We expect candidates for this role to be able to lead by example, be effective in setting priorities, and combine clear communication with a winning attitude. We have gathered VR experts from around the world to develop (not port) a new Assassin's Creed experience in the immersive medium of VR. You'll work on a multi-studio co-dev project on one of Ubisoft's most well-loved franchises. As an Associate Producer, you’ll be a valued member of the production team, managing sub-groups of developers within the larger project team. You’ll communicate between different sub-groups and departments, representing the groups you oversee as well as providing data about the team and project health in your groups. Using your experience and proven track record, you will achieve the production objectives and ensure that your group members are committed and effective.
Responsibilities:
- Be an excellent leader for your team, having a servant leadership mindset and helping to unleash the full potential of every member of your team
- Establish and maintain a healthy team spirit with open-communication, constructive-feedback culture, and realistic goals
- Have an analytical eye, optimizing workflows and processes to make coordination within the team members on different sites as simple as possible
- Facilitate planning and scheduling for your area of the project including planning documentation, tools, and constant monitoring of progression
- Identify issues and risk mitigations to reduce impact on the deliveries, schedule, and/or quality, initiating contingency plans where necessary
- Ensure proper bug management (bug reports, priorities, etc.)
- Coordinate the submission process and all internal dependencies and ensure all requirements are met
- Support the Producers, Leads, and Recruitment with on-boarding of new employees
- Facilitate team and co-dev communication, ensuring timely dissemination of information to all stakeholders
- Support project and studio business efforts
Qualifications
- 2 years of game development in a production role, or other relevant experience
- Working experience with common software development methodologies such as AGILE/Scrum, Waterfall, and KANBAN
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines by handling competing priorities, doing risk assessment, and problem solving
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong ability to collaborate with multiple international teams, both internal and external
- Ability to deal with changing priorities
- Calm and confident leadership style
