Touch of Life Technologies (Toltech) is a leader in virtual anatomy created from real anatomical specimens. Our VH Dissector software is used by students and educators around the world to provide a real anatomical experience in virtual environments and your contributions will directly impact their learning.

Toltech is looking for an AR/VR software engineer to add to our team developing the most anatomically realistic education and training applications on the market. As an AR/VR software engineer at Toltech you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of platforms and environments from the portable Meta Quest 2 and HoloLens 2 to the market defining Varjo XR-3. Our goal is to bring a unified, quality experience to all users across a variety of hardware platforms so institutions can utilize the technologies that best meet their needs.

For this position our preference is to hire someone located in the Denver metro area. However, we are willing to discuss a remote position if you are the right fit. So, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Key Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of C++
• Ability to write concise and well-structured code, minimizing dependencies and thus bugs
• Extensive experience with at least one major graphics API (Metal, Direct3D, Vulkan, OpenGL/ES)
• Experience with Shader Languages and writing custom shaders
• General 3D math knowledge (linear algebra)
• Medical imaging or other voxel-based imaging experience a plus
• Ability to communicate technical approaches with team members to evaluate and prioritize implementation
• Flexibility to work on a variety of efforts and platforms to achieve team goals and timelines
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science and/or Mathematics or equivalent experience

• Senior software engineers start at a minimum annual salary of $120,000. Your actual compensation may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications and experience.
