The Hiring Company Virtual Reality (VR) Center is responsible for researching, designing, and developing computer graphics visualizations and simulations for sponsors and clients. Through the use of 3-D modeling, animation, and programming, the lab provides architectural walkthroughs, simulations of physical systems, educational entertainment software and novel virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality environments. The VR Center actively supports faculty, undergraduates, graduate and post-doctoral students in research and discovery, as well as commercialization of their discoveries for the public benefit while supporting the goals and mission of Hiring Company.

This person will be responsible for designing and developing applications for sponsored research and interfacing directly with sponsor point(s)-of-contact. All of this will ultimately ensure the successful completion of funded research projects, creating engaging and thought-proving VR/AR/MR applications that fulfill requires laid out by sponsors, and attract and solidify future opportunities.
Multiple faculty members are associated with the VR Center. In addition, the Center employs post-doctoral associates, and graduate and undergraduate students.
