Kura patented technology overcomes multiple barriers to the practical widespread adoption of AR. It’s an exciting time at Kura as we gear up to make a high impact with our initial product launch. Kura is making standalone enterprise and consumer-facing AR glasses and systems with 150-degree field of view, 8K resolution, and 95% transparent eyepiece enabled by proprietary display and optics technology.

As Director of Business Operations reporting directly to the CEO, assume a leadership role in multiple business and operations areas to meet rapidly evolving needs as Kura grows. 

Responsibilities include

• Corporate legal: Draft and negotiate contracts, NDAs, employee agreements, consulting agreements, leases, oversee the establishment of an outsourced equity service, options agreements, and support BOD meetings and minutes.
• Business strategy: Develop underlying financial models in support of evolving business strategies. Support the creation of decks for investor and partner presentations.
• Finance: Oversee accounting, payroll, AR and AP with outsourced cost effective services where appropriate
• HR: Oversee HR with outsourced cost effective services where appropriate. Implement internal policies as guided by the CEO.
• Facilities: Responsible for lease, ISP and IT contracts, and others required to maintain office operations. Guide Kura’s executive assistant to help where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal or similar field
• Minimum 4 years of experience with leadership experience in the areas of responsibility
• Experience in a start-up or small rapidly growing business
• Thrives in small team fast paced environments
• Ability to innovate and introduce creative solutions
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
