Our Art department is led by award winning artists from companies such as Industrial Light & Magic, Microsoft, and Apple. We have contributed to some of the largest properties in the world for films and game franchises like Marvel, Star Wars, Halo, Mortal Kombat and Jurassic Park to name just a few. We are excited to welcome new members to our growing team.

We are looking for an Art Manager to manage the team of artists with a focus on people management. The Art Manager will report directly to the SVP, Operations and work closely with the Art Director, Director of Production and SVP, Operations on establishing and improving departmental processes around people management, supporting and advancing career plans, and ensuring all artists are receiving timely feedback and coaching.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Partner with the production department, art leads, and talent acquisition with regards to staffing and hiring
  • Manage and support personnel career paths
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure your team has the tools and support to achieve their goals
  • Collaborate closely with Art Director, Director of Production and SVP, Operations to help ensure unified goals and vision for the Art team

This is the right opportunity for you if you:
  • 4+ years of management experience, deep understanding of leadership fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated success managing a department at scale, with a large span of control (e.g., 20)
  • Experience and a passion for building teams and guiding personnel along career paths
  • Self-aware, life learner, always keeping up with the latest technology, workflow tips and tools
  • A love for team culture and activities

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience managing artists in a film or gaming studio
  • Interest in high fidelity visual effects in gaming or film.
