Join an early stage VR company focused on minimizing the gap between virtual reality and physical reality. The Vice President of VR & Haptics will report directly to the CEO & CTO, and will serve a leading role within the organization. We offer generous equity with a standard vesting schedule. Salary starts when company achieves VC funding.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Working across the organization, own all VR & Haptics technologies
• Plan and direct engineering operations activities to meet the company's objectives.
• Provide technical leadership for development by directing product design and function.
• Evaluate the reliability of materials, properties, and techniques used in production.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5-7+ years of experience in a leading haptics or VR company, preferably in a leadership position
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, highly organized and detail oriented.
• Possess, and be motivated to continuously develop, a learning, network, and equity mindset.
• Innovative thinker with a track record for translating strategy into action plans and results.
• Astute listener and able to understand and incorporate stakeholder’s needs and interests.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects with high attention to detail.
