Job Description
Our client is looking for an Experience Designer/Prototyper. This is a 12-month assignment located in Redmond, WA. You would be embedded in the technical art team, working in a highly collaborative research environment to help invent the future!
In this role, you’ll be working in close collaboration with research scientists, technical program managers, and software engineers to prototype Unity experiences. These experiences are meant to test hypotheses for new AR/VR product concepts.
Responsibilities Include:
- Contribute to the creative ideation process for the design of prototype experience.
- Work in Unity to build AR/VR experimental experiences with support from software engineers, and research scientists.
- Setup Unity game logic, including orchestration of character animation playback.
- Give design direction for 3D assets creation
- Integrate 3D Assets into experiences.
Skills:
- 3+ years using Unity/C# in a professional capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant visual art or technical field such as Computer Animation, Graphic Design or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience working with 3D Assets
- Ability to adapt to a fluid environment.
- Bonus: Expertise in authoring 3D Assets
- Bonus: Character authoring/Rigging experience
- Bonus: Technical animation experience

- C# Unity Experience Authoring
- Contribute to creative ideation process
- Experience working with 3d Content
Key performance measurements:
- Has built experiences end-to-end for a VR device

- Disqualifiers: No unity experience. No C# experience
