Must be based on the West Coast US time zone


We’re working with a rapidly expanding group of software companies focused across a wide range of areas in the XR and Metaverse industry. Founded over 6 years ago by a team of industry veterans from Microsoft, Meta and Sony, they have a talented team of 120.


These are split across their UK and US office locations, with strategic partnerships in place with the likes of Meta and Microsoft.


They’ve recently received over £15m in private investment – the majority of the funding will be used for R&D/innovation led projects and fuel headcount growth to over 150+ in the next six months.


They currently have a highly talented team of 120 – across their UK and West Coast US office locations. They’re looking to increase their US headcount significantly in terms of hiring locations. Hence, it’s a great time to join the company!


Owing to the planned growth, they’re looking to hire a remote, West coast US-based Customer Experience Manager to join their team.


The main aspect of the role will be to deliver fantastic customer experiences. Provide amazing support to customers, some of which are embarking on their first XR journey and be the primary customer contact for new customers!


Key Responsibilities


  • Own the full customer experience journey from brief to project handover
  • Onboarding new customers, ensuring they receive high levels of service
  • Forge strong working relationships with customers with the view of exceeding their expectations
  • Provide in-person/online/in VR support to customers during events/experiences
  • Document, track, and report customer issues/requests to the product team
  • Look for ways to continuously improve the customer experience and implement key customer strategies


What skills do you need for the Customer Experience Manager role?


You’ll be an experienced Customer Experience Manager with 5 years + experience of currently carrying out the role within the technology, live/hybrid events or advertising/marketing space.


You will also currently be client-facing and have detailed experience in onboarding new clients.


In addition, you’ll be curious by nature and love thinking creatively to solve challenges.
