About The Role

Mass Virtual is looking for a passionate, high-performing Project Manager who is interested in working in a dynamic, agile, and fast-paced work environment. As a Project Manager, you will drive forward projects by effectively driving and developing a team based on skill set and project goals, develop and facilitate program management practices, and oversee all projects from definition through final project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Serves as a manager of projects from award to completion and is responsible for budget, schedule, and labor for all relevant projects
• Develop and facilitate sound program management practices
• Review operational and business issues and help determine where process improvements are required
• Provide leadership for production resources to deliver results and enable them to adapt to improve processes while maintaining excellent customer service
• Develop and maintain program-wide forecasting models and metrics
• Responsible for organizing product roadmaps, providing summary reporting to key stakeholders, and improving the efficiency of various processes
• Create, analyze, and implement integrated project schedules and budgets
• Work closely with the Operations Team and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects
• Coordinate activities to ensure that all projects and deliverables are met on time and within the scope
• Ensure scope creep/changes are carefully managed and agreed to by appropriate stakeholders
• Prepare cost estimates/budgets, track spend, and manage risks
• Work with the Operations Team and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are being met as required by contract or internal standards
• Ability to effectively communicate project milestones, status, and risks at all levels of the organization
• Work closely with customers during project execution
• Identify growth opportunities within projects and programs in coordination with leadership and business development team
• Identify teaming opportunities and solicitations that meet the company’s goals and objectives and present them to leadership
• Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates; work with a proposal team to write, review and coordinate all proposal development activities from start to submission
  

What You Need To Succeed

• 5+ years of project or program management experience or in an equivalent function
• Experience leading production teams, in projects management of multiple concurrent projects
• Demonstrated experience developing or deploying applications of interactive, AR, VR or XR
• Experience simultaneously managing different projects with multiple stakeholders
• Experience managing government projects with a preference for defense projects
• Experience managing various contract types including Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, etc.
• Experience with FAR, ITAR and Export regulations
• Advanced Microsoft Office expertise, with a strong emphasis on Excel
• Analytical problem solver and strong quantitative thinker who learns quickly
• Ability to juggle and prioritize competing demands on your time
• Must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

• Understanding of System and Software engineering processes
• Experience with software development projects
• Experience and understanding of Defense Facility Security Clearance requirements (FSO certification is a bonus)
