DRG Architects is an award-winning architectural design firm with immediate openings for Job Captains to oversee several exciting projects in our NYC Office, located at 47-10 Austell Place, Long Island City, NY 11101.

The DRG Architects team leads in researching, testing, and applying the latest technologies as part of our practice. This includes the latest 3D modeling technology, BIM/REVIT, animations, virtual reality, and augmented virtual reality that provides our clients with the clearest vision and understanding of proposed designs. If you are interested in being a part of this team and implementing the design of exciting buildings using the latest applied technologies, we want to hear from you.

Your qualifications should include the following:

• Minimum, Bachelor of Architecture degree

• Minimum 5 year’s experience as a Job Captain

• Enjoy taking a design concept from design development to construction documents with attention to detail and design

• Experience in project management, consultant coordination, and document coordination

• Experience working on New York City School Authority (SCA) Projects, Higher Education, and New York City Department of Design & Construction (DDC) Projects is a plus

• Proficient in Revit/BIM (3 years experience required)

• Knowledge of NYC building codes and zoning regulations
