IT AR/VR Implementation Analyst – Atlanta, GA

The opportunity:
  • The IT AR/VR Implementation Analyst will assist with the implementation and support of virtual / augmented reality programs, solutions and devices to global manufacturing facilities.
  • These enterprise grade applications and solutions will be in support of various Westrock business units including manufacturing, HR and others.
  • The IT AR/VR Implementation Analyst will report directly to the Extended Reality (XR) Center of Excellence (CoE) Lead while engaging the business in building and launching successful AR/VR/MR solutions.

How you will impact WestRock:
  • Assist the XR CoE in planning and implementation of varied virtual/augmented reality devices and solutions to manufacturing facilities globally and different business units
  • Work with business stakeholders and IT partners regarding dependencies and risks for multiple, concurrent projects
  • Report status of initiatives to CoE and stakeholders
  • Work with factories to obtain the necessary access and scheduling to plan, train, implement and support augmented reality initiatives for front-line workers
  • Coordinate with vendors for devices and software procurement, while assisting with device configurations
  • Own device and software management for physical devices and user accounts across the globe
  • Assist with defining proper use cases by gathering and analyzing requirements through meetings and interactions with Westrock stakeholders
  • Drive training and adoption of defined capability solutions being released
  • Assist with the tracking and evaluate adoption, efficiency and ROI for AR, VR and MR platform, tools and solutions
  • Monitor support and incident queue to assist CoE in triaging solution issues

What you need to succeed:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • 2-3 years industry experience within software industry implementing AR/VR solutions as an engineer, developer, or analyst
  • Experience with tablet, phone-based, or head mounted device augmented reality
  • Experience interacting with third-party technology and consulting vendors
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of network infrastructure and cloud services
  • Experience editing video and images
  • Experience and/or good understanding of real-time audio/video communication platform and technology
  • Able to manage competing demands, prioritize workload, and manage multiple responsibilities against strict deadlines
  • Ability to travel both within the US and globally up to 50% of the time
  • Must be adaptable and able to work under tight timelines, changing priorities and unpredictable obstacles
