Position Overview:

Reporting to the VP of Investor Relations, this role will have primary responsibility for MKS’ Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Program. This highly collaborative role will work across the organization and with external stakeholders to develop and implement our ESG strategy and program.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage our enterprise wide ESG Program

• Identify relevant ESG topics and goals, and work with ESG Steering Committee in setting appropriate targets and objectives

• Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to manage data collection/reporting across environmental, human resource, governance, and operational topics

• Collaborate with Supply Chain organization to administer annual supply chain ESG survey and incorporate high level takeaways into internal/external ESG reporting

• Coordinate with key stakeholders to define and assess enterprise-wide Climate risk

• Continually assess and incorporate SEC and other regulatory ESG mandates

• Lead the development and publication of annual ESG report, consistent with relevant standards (SASB and TCFD)

• Manage MKS’ response to all ESG-related data/survey requests, including third party ratings (MSCI, Sustainalytics, S&P CSA), customer self-assessment questionnaires, and investor requests.

• Provide internal and external reporting on ESG program and progress, including Board-level presentations, investor-facing presentations, and internal employee communications.

• Develop a compelling narrative MKS’ ESG Strategy, goals, targets and objectives

• Partner with Marketing and Internal Communications teams to drive messaging of ESG program to target audiences

• Work with third-party advisors, consultants, and vendors to advance our ESG program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in Consulting, Project Management, Corporate Strategy, Supply Chain, Investor Relations, Legal and Compliance, or other

• 2+ years of experience in ESG preferred, but not required

• Ability to work with and influence groups of internal and external customers
