SCP (formerly Second City Prints) a fast-growing entertainment merchandising company in Batavia, IL is seeking a wildly creative Multimedia Designer to join its growing Marketing Team.

With a passion for bringing creative briefs to life, our Multimedia Designer will develop and design creative video/interactive content for social media, websites, newsletters, advertisements, and more for SCP and a multitude of our partners. The ideal designer will have experience creating dynamic animations, illustrations, videos, photos, and audio experiences that align with brand standards.

FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

• Developing and producing multimedia pieces for use on websites, in multimedia presentations, on social media, and more
• Collaborating with marketing and creative teams to determine appropriate visual, audio, textual, and animated elements of projects – then bringing them to life within agreed-upon timelines
• Skilled at adapting designs for delivery on multiple channels without sacrificing user-experience
• Talented editor with an eye for capturing and repurposing video, audio, and photo elements in new and exciting ways
• Champion of trends and technological evolutions, the Multimedia Designer will make sure SCP and its client roster stay at the forefront of channel capabilities and design opportunities
• Helping SCP and its partners come to life on social media by designing custom AR/VR experiences and filter designs (for Meta, TikTok, Snapchat)
• Ability to translate complex ideas into audience-appropriate graphics and animations
• Rockstar presenter of ideas and solutions through effective communication

• Skilled at packaging artwork and media for final approval and distribution

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in animation, graphics design, or related program
• 4+ years of experience in creating multimedia content, with a current portfolio.
• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, especially in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Express
• History of creating striking AR/VR experiences and filters for social media (for Meta, TikTok, Snapchat)
• Comfortability in designing for variable formats and optimizing files for the best user experience
• Exceptional understanding of how to create content that will engage audiences.
• Strong photography and videography/audio capture and editing skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Stevie's mission to be wildly independent and relentlessly creative, guided his business growth and is the reason that SCP became what it is today.

When Stevie was in college, him & his sister Annie began printing disability advocacy shirts that featured Annie's creation, the wheelchair heart symbol. The symbol was a huge hit within the disability community. They never imagined that this side project would lead them to create 3E Love in 2007, the largest disability advocacy brand in the world.

After Annie tragically passed away in 2009, Stevie carried on her legacy by continuing his work with 3E Love. This eventually led to the birth of SCP.
