The Web Development Team leads the CMS development and publishing of world-class design and content in collaboration with a diverse team of cross-functional stakeholders (Marcom, Merchandising, Creative Production, Engineering, Analytics, Internationalization -- amongst others).
We are seeking a Web Development Manager to join our growing team and support our APAC market. You will be responsible for leading development and execution of web content within our content management system including the technical scoping, execution and quality assurance of the Japan site. This is a remote role that will collaborate with teams based in the US and Japan and requires someone to be fluent in Japanese and English.
Role Responsibilities:
- Act as key liaison to Marcom, Merchandising and Internationalization to ensure website requirements are represented and supported
- Build deep subject matter expertise in Meta web technologies.
- Review and test project code in CMS to ensure optimum performance, accessibility and global stability.
- Manage the end to end testing, quality assurance and publishing of content on the Japan site.
- Build strong relationships and communicate up/down/across the organization to ensure transparency, alignment, and advocacy.
- Ability to self execute code in CMS with a strong background in HTML and CSS
Experience / Skill Requirements:
- 5+ years professional experience managing front end web development projects, working with cross functional teams throughout each project lifecycle.
- Proficient in HTML/CSS and developing within Web Content Management Systems
- Experience developing global websites that support multiple languages and markets
- Experience with communicating high-level strategy and technical details across teams, locations, and organizations, including leadership and non-technical audiences
- Excellent communicator, superb verbal and written communication
- Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and flexible.
- Experience working with a diverse set of cross functional partners
- Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail, able to detect inconsistencies and errors
- Fluent in Japanese and English
